"After all, we cannot know what we are going to express. What is really creative is bound to be a surprise
because it is something we couldn't have thought of. This is the thing that we resist the most. We want to
know where we are going, why we are doing it, and what it is going to give to us. We want to know it all.
To be creative means becoming more familiar with being a little lost. If we are always full of what we
want to do, there is no room for the new."- Michell Cassou

Next Show
I am currently preparing for my next show at the Apples and Crafts Fair in Woodstock, VT.
This is the fourth year I will have a booth in this juried crafts fair. I have sold several of my art quilts at this particular fair, so I am finishing up some of my UFO's specifically for this crowd.

Natural Art
I can see quilts in these photographs I took. I'm really loving the brilliant color of the fungus on that rock, too! It's simplicity with impact. Now that's what I call good design!

Chazy Fossil Reef
Great textures are found in fossil rocks. I love the spiral, but the other lines in the image below talk to me. I love it.
I want to print these pictures out onto fabric and use them in a quilt. I think it would be very cool. We will see what the future holds! : )
