"After all, we cannot know what we are going to express. What is really creative is bound to be a surprise
because it is something we couldn't have thought of. This is the thing that we resist the most. We want to
know where we are going, why we are doing it, and what it is going to give to us. We want to know it all.
To be creative means becoming more familiar with being a little lost. If we are always full of what we
want to do, there is no room for the new."- Michell Cassou

Playing in the studio
Yesterday I went in and played in my studio. I found this clean up rag and laid it on top of a basic frame I made out of fabrics. I like what's happening , but I know it needs more.
What it needs? I don't know. This is what playing is all about. I need to take the time to find all this out. So, it now sits, waiting for more, in my studio.

“Nothing is so dangerous to the progress of the human mind than to assume that our views of science are ultimate, that there are no mysteries in nature, that our triumphs are complete and that there are no new worlds to conquer.” ~ Humphry Davy
