First SAQA regional meeting as a Rep

WOW!

 That's all I can say!

I am left speechless at the amazing talent that surrounds me! What a great and dynamic group of SAQA women who met yesterday! I found my jaw dropping at everything I beheld, even the pot-luck was beautiful. I do love the energy I get from attending a meeting like that one! I felt like singing all the way home!

We have some pretty amazing people who belong to SAQA and the tri-state reps and the MA/RI reps want to meet you and energize! We are a powerful source!

Let's keep the energy going!  Proposed meetings are already brewing in Vermont and Maine!  I'll keep you posted!

Hi Margaret,
Was this the NE meeting? Who attends? Was it at the NEQM?

Hi Margaret,
That meeting sounded very energizing from reading Wen's summary. I live in Brunswick, Maine. Will you be having a meeting somewhere in my vicinity in the near future.
Although I know a little bit about SAGA, I do not know much. Does one need a sponsor to join or attend a regional meeting.
Wishing you JOY on your Journey,
Ann E. Ruthsdottir

The international quilting group Studio Art Quilters Association (SAQA) can be joined on line by credit card. Visit: http://www.saqa.com/
Once a member you will start receiving the regional newsletter from Wen, Susan and I as well as the SAQA mailings and e-newsletters.

I am currently organizing a late August meeting North of Augusta Maine with members willing to host. I will post the info about that meeting here. It is open to non-members interested in SAQA as well as current members! It WILL be worth the trip!

Susan Balch is organizing a meeting in Vermont soon. I will post that info here as well!

It is a good time to join, we are trying to become a cohesive "formidable force". The New England SAQA group also has an opportunity to have a show at the NEQM in 2011!
